In October, SIMACRO conducted a pilot project with two global companies, receiving positive feedback from both organizations. The project focused on using ProcessModel V™ (PMV™) to automate the connection between engineering models and real industrial data.
Integrating Models and Data Using PMV™
During the three-week pilot, the two companies linked their engineering models with plant data through PMV™. Over the course of the project, a total of 10 different models were repeatedly executed—reaching 77,000 model runs in just three weeks!! This equates to about 16 full model executions per hour, continuously, across the pilot period.
This high execution frequency clearly demonstrates both the technical feasibility and operational value of automating model runs in active industrial environments. The ability to automatically run frequently-used engineering models with live plant data gives engineering and operations teams timely insights to strengthen day-to-day decision making.
Positive Feedback
Feedback from participating teams has been highly positive. Based on initial survey results, PMV™ was found to be at least moderately to extremely valuable tool in dealing with engineering workflows, and highly recommend PMV to a colleague (average 8.25/10). The users expressed strong satisfaction and enthusiasm for continued adoption.
Pilot Project Outcomes and Next Steps
Following the successful demonstration, both companies requested additional model development for more plants and signaled their intention to continue using PMV™. This feedback supports the value PMV™ delivered and points to the role of model-data integration in modern process operations.

The project’s results reaffirm SIMACRO’s belief that active, automated model integration with plant data is key to scalable, reliable digital twin and hybrid modeling solutions.
