Japan IT/DX/AI Week 2025: Sharing New Possibilities in Process Innovation

From October 23 to 25, 2025, the Japan IT Week Autumn was held at Makuhari Messe — Japan’s largest IT exhibition and one of Asia’s leading technology events. This year’s show brought together key innovations in AI, digital twin, cloud, and industrial DX. SIMACRO participated to present ProcessMetaverse™ (PMv), demonstrating how digital twins can drive tangible process innovation across industries.

SIMACRO’s Perspective on the Digital Twin

SIMACRO’s message at Japan IT Week was clear: a digital twin is not just a 3D model or simulation tool. It is a continuous loop of synchronization and optimization, replicating real-world processes in a virtual environment and feeding insights back into reality. Through this structure, organizations can move beyond data visualization to achieve real-time optimization of operations and decision-making.
This concept was visualized through SIMACRO’s framework, “Essential Elements of a Modern Digital Twin.”The diagram illustrates SIMACRO’s definition of a digital twin: a sustainable, cyclical structure that continuously synchronizes and optimizes data between the real and virtual worlds. This ongoing feedback loop enhances operational efficiency and establishes a foundation for intelligent, adaptive systems.

The Direction of ProcessMetaverse™

ProcessMetaverse™ embodies SIMACRO’s core philosophy of how digital twins evolve. PMv integrates complex business processes into a digital environment and reconstructs workflows through data-driven insight, enabling process-level innovation. At Japan IT Week, PMv was recognized not simply as a platform, but as a structural framework that empowers organizations to think, adapt, and transform continuously.

SIMACRO as a Brand

SIMACRO is not a company that merely showcases technology — it is a brand that understands processes and designs innovation. What SIMACRO presented at Japan IT Week was not a product or a set of features, but a methodology for evolving business processes through data. With ProcessMetaverse™ at the core, SIMACRO will continue to build a data-driven Process Innovation Ecosystem, helping organizations transform into self-evolving digital enterprises. With headquarters in Boston and Seoul, SIMACRO has completed over 90 commercial modeling projects across 40 companies since 2018. Collaborating with global technology leaders such as AspenTech, Emerson, and OLI, SIMACRO is committed to advancing digital innovation in the process industry.About SIMACRODesigner
